I told you I would be back with a count, it didn't take long to find either.
According to the Iraqi Coalition Casualty Count website: http://icasualties.org, it confirms the number I recorded earlier of U.S. troop deaths to date as being 3,732 in Iraq. Also, this website claims the numbers they record of the Iraqi civilian casualties and contractors are estimated and that the accurate count would be higher than what they have listed here. So, here it goes:
As of today Civilians Reported Killed By Military Intervention In Iraq are a minimum of 70,749 to a maximum of 77,272.
As of June 30,2007, government figures show 1,001 contractors died since start of war in Iraq. (NOTE TO BLOG READERS: Ah, Occupation. This count is also contractors from other nations as well that died in Iraq, not just the number of U.S., this is supposed to be the estimated total count that was last recorded on June 30th.)
I really think it is time to end this illegal occupation of Iraq, don't you?
